Analysis of the cause of die burst during metal stamping processing
Die cracking during metal stamping processing is a very common situation, but when it is more serious, a stencil is suddenly divided into several pieces. Perhaps, there are many reasons for the immediate cracking of the stencil. From the selection of raw materials for stamping dies to the stamping operation process, it can cause harm to it. The reasons for die cracking during metal stamping processing are:
1. Unsatisfactory material
There is no demagnetization solution before production and no return of the material tip; there are broken needles, broken bullets and other stuck materials in production; there is no leakage of excrement, or rolling and blocking of excrement when assembling the mold, which is the most common and assembled. If the master does not pay attention, such as when there are many blanking holes, or when the mold has a protective layer pad, this situation is most likely to occur.
2. Design scheme processing technology
The compressive strength of the mold is insufficient, the wound interval is too close, the mold design is unscientific, the number of template blocks is insufficient, and there is no spacer.
3. Quenching and tempering treatment: deformation caused by poor heat treatment and quenching process
According to practical experience, the heat treatment quality of the mold is very harmful to the characteristics and service life of the mold. From the analysis and statistical analysis of mold failure reasons, it is known that "safety accidents" caused by mold failure due to thermal negligence account for about 40%.
4. Line cutting is negligent
The hanging wire is cut by the wire, the gap of the wire is cut to solve the error, and there is no mold layer damage caused by the cleaning of the corner and the wire. The tooth surface of the stamping die is mostly processed by wire cutting. Because of the thermoelectric effect and electrolysis effect of wire cutting processing, the mold manufacturing surface will cause a must-thick mildew layer, resulting in reduced surface strength, microscopic cracks, etc., resulting in wire-cutting stamping dies prone to initial damage, which immediately endangers mold cooling. The maintenance of the stamping gap and the tooth surface are very easy to chip, reducing the service life of the mold. Therefore, in the online cutting process, an effective electrical standard should be selected to avoid the deep mildew layer as much as possible.
5. Adoption of high-speed punching machines and equipment
The tonnage of the high-speed punch, the cold stamping pressure is insufficient, and the die adjustment is probably too deep. The precision and stiffness of stamping machine tools (such as stamping machines) are extremely important to the service life of stamping dies. The high precision and rigidity of the stamping machine tool greatly increase the service life of the stamping die. For example: the raw material of the complicated ferrite core stamping die is Crl2MoV, which is applied on a general open-type stamping machine, and the average regrinding service life is 10,000 to 30,000 times; when applied on a new high-precision stamping machine, the regrinding service life of the stamping die reaches 10,000 to 30,000 times. 6-12 million times.
